Federal Government has flagged off distribution of Agricultural inputs and equipments as part of a relief package to small scale farmers affected by flood in Jigawa state.

Minister of Agriculture and natural resources, Alhaji Sabo Nanono who was in Auyo local government area to flag off the distribution said the exercise was part of the federal government efforts at boosting agricultural productivity.

According to him, the distribution of the Farm inputs is also part of President Muhammadu Buhari’s led administration to advance food and nutritional security in the country.

Radio Nigeria Kaduna reports that the items distributed include improved rice seeds, water pumping machine, pesticides, threshing machine among others.
