Jigawa State Local Government Service Commission has organised a two-day workshop on resource management for sustainable development in the third tier of government.
The chairman of the commission, Alhaji Uba Bala Ringim said the workshop was organised to enlighten the participants on new ideas and techniques on local government administration.
He commended the effort of the state government for supporting the local government service commission.
Ringim also urged the participants to make good use of the workshop to improve service production.
Some of the participants who spoke to Radio Nigeria expressed gratitude to the state local government service commission for organising the workshop.
