All rallies for or against ENDSARS have been suspended by the Niger State Government.

State Commissioner of Sports Development, Mr Emmanuel Umaru stated this while addressing Newsmen in Minna the Niger state capital.

Mr Emmanuel Umaru said though under the law people have right to protest but Niger State Government will not fold it’s arms to see things going out of hands.

He saluted the courage of youths for standing for their rights but would also wants them to be orderly in actualising their dreams.

Mr Emmanuel Umaru expressed regret on how the ENDSARS protest was hijacked by hoodlums and called on youths to be vanguard of peace and development for meaningful progress.

He said the State Government would continue to support and assist youths to achieved their God given talent and excel towards becoming useful to themselves and society at large.

Mr Emmanuel Umaru said arrangements have been concluded by Niger State Government through the Ministry of Sports Development to embark on training of youths on how to access seventy five billion Naira, Nigerian Youth Investment Fund of Federal Government.

He said such training will be provided to the youths in Niger State free of charge. Aliu.
