National President of the Jama’atu Izalatul Bid’ah Wa’ikamatis Sunnah, Sheikh Abdullahi Bala Lau has directed Scholars under the body to embark on special preaching against the ongoing Nationwide Protest.

He gave the directive while addressing newsmen after a meeting with the executives of the organisation in Abuja.

Sheikh Bala Lau who condemned the dasterdly act of violence engagegd by some unpatriotic youth in the name of Politics said it’s high time for religious and trditional leaders as well as relevant Nigerians to come together to end the protest.

The National President also called on governments at all level to use the available security agencies to protect the lives and property of the innocent citizens from unnecessary attack.

He advised Nigeria politicians and the protesting youth to put the country in their heart and not to allow themselves to be used by some individuals who hate to see the economic peaceful growth of the Nation.

Sheikh Bala Lau further appealed to Muslims and other Islamic Institutions to continue to condemned the ongoing violence and warned their followers not join it in any direction as Islam is totally against protest.

The lslamic leader equally reiterated the commitment of Izala group in organising special preaching and prayer session to ensure that those behind the violence did not achieve their goals.
