ENDSARS: Nigeria Entertainers Show Solidarity

Top Nigerian entertainers have also been lending their voices to the ongoing End SARS protests in Nigeria.

The protest which started 11 days ago is against police brutality in Nigeria have seen youths and Nigerian entertainers make major moves in ensuring that their voices are in solidarity not just with the protesters but against a system in need of reform.

Nigerian entertainers took to their various social media handles to express their solidarity.

Genevive Nnaji, an actress has been very vocal about her stand on the protests since its inception and has so far remained active on Twitter with tweets reiterating the demands of the people.

On his part, Ken Erics has also been active both offline and online and has also shared his personal experience with officers of the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad-SARS as a youth corps member which he said was traumatic.

As for Omoni Oboli, Uche Jombo, Chioma Akpotha, they have been sensitizing market women, protesting at popular spots and providing self-funded refreshments for protesters.

Funke Akindele-Bello and Kate Henshaw have been providing online protesters with airtime while Richard Mofe-Damijo aka RMD has been providing useful information on the SARS protests.

Toyin Abraham a Yoruba actress took to the streets of Ibadan, where she is currently filming, to speak up against police brutality. .
