Governor El Rufai addressing residents attacked by bandits

Kaduna State Government says it will not negotiate or give Amnesty to bandits.

 Governor Ahmed Nasiru Elrufai stated this when he visited communities attacked by bandits in Igabi and Giwa local Government Areas of the state.

Governor El-rufai noted that, the state has zero tolerance for banditry activities hence the need to deal decisively with them.

The Governor assured affected communities that the attackers would be arrested and made to face full wrath of the law.

He commended Security Operatives for their gallantry, stressing that if not for intervention of security personnel on land and in the air, the situation would have been worse.

The Governor also prayed for the departed souls, adding that, the State Emergency Management agency was also on ground to provide relief materials for the victims.

District Head of Karewa Alh Ibrahim Damu called on Government to intensify efforts in tackling security challenges in the area.

The Governor was accompanied by GOC 1 Div, Commissioner of Police, Director of DSS, Chairmen of Igabi and Giwa Local Government Areas
