CAC CEO Tasks Journalists On Professional Ethics

The Registrar General, Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) Alhaji Garba Abubakar, has stressed the need for Media practitioners to always abide by professional ethics and ensure balance in their reportage before going to press in order not to mislead the public.

Alhaji Garba Abubakar stated this when the Chief Executive Officer, of the Business Day Publisher Mr. Frank Aigbogun paid a courtesy call to the Commission in Abuja.

While emphasizing the importance of sensitization to the success of organizations, the Registrar General highlighted some of the reform initiatives of the CAC which were aimed at making the Commission operate at par with its global peers.

He, therefore, pledged to maintain a relationship that would guarantee seamless dissemination of information relating to the activities and achievements of the Commission.

Earlier, the Chief Executive Officer CEO of the Business Day Publisher Mr. Frank Aigbogun has applauded the reform initiatives of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) under the leadership of the Registrar General/CEO, Alhaji Garba Abubakar.

Mr. Frank Aigbogun noted with satisfaction the current digitization of CAC operations geared towards improving the country’s business environment and therefore enjoined Alhaji Garba Abubakar to sustain the tempo.

Describing the position of CAC as strategic to the realization of the ease of doing business initiative of the federal government, Mr. Aigbogun used the forum to solicit for enhanced collaboration to ensure proper public sensitization on the activities and achievements of the Commission.

Similarly, the CAC Head of Media Unit, Rasheed Mahe reports that Accompanied on the visit by the CEO of the Business Day Publisher Mr. Frank Aigbogun was the Managing Director, Dr. Ogho Okoti, and other top management staff of Business Day.
