The Kaduna State Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Usman Shehu Bawa, ABG, has called on the party’s candidates for the National and State Houses of Assembly elections to unite and work towards collective success in the 2027 general elections.

 

Usman Shehu Bawa made the call at a meeting with the party’s candidates and aspirants at his campaign office in Kaduna.

 

This is contained in a press release signed and distributed to Journalists in Kaduna by the spokesperson of the Governorship Candidate of the PDP Yusuf Idris.

 

According to Yusuf Idris the meeting was attended by candidates contesting seats in the House of Representatives and the Kaduna State House of Assembly, as well as aspirants who participated in the party’s previous primary elections.

 

The PDP Governorship Candidate PDP, Usman Shehu Bawa, ABG, urged the candidates to put aside their differences and work together in the interest of the party and the people of Kaduna State.

 

He said the party could achieve its objectives only through unity and collective efforts, urging those who did not secure the party’s nominations to support the candidates who emerged.

 

ABG said the PDP had a vision to move Kaduna State forward and therefore called on all members to support one another and present a united front to the electorate.

 

The PDP governorship candidate also condemned attacks on opposition political parties, describing such actions as primitive and inconsistent with the political development of the country.

 

The meeting ended with a commitment by the participants to collaborate and strengthen the party’s campaign efforts ahead of the 2027 general elections.
