The Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Bashir Usman disclosed this in a statement issued to newsmen in Birnin Kebbi, the state capital.

He said the campaign seeks to sensitize young people against political thuggery, manipulation and digital incitement, while promoting peace, responsible citizenship and positive youth engagement, adding that the initiative will be sustained across the State.

According to the statement, the command will continue with lectures and sensitisation sessions by POCACOV, Kebbi State Command, in collaboration with community leaders and youth organisations.

As part of the concluding activities, the Command held a Novelty Football Match between the Police and a Youth Team in Birnin Kebbi, further strengthening Police–youth relations through sports and positive interaction.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Umar Hadejia, commended the youths for their enthusiasm and urged them to resist manipulation and make choices that protect their future as he assured fostering a healthy Police–youth relationship, harnessing their potential for the peace and development of Kebbi State.
