Jigawa State Governor, Malam Umar Namadi, has reaffirmed that appointments into his administration will continue to be guided by merit, competence, integrity, knowledge and experience, in line with his commitment to good governance.

Governor Namadi stated this while administering the Oath of Office to one Technical Adviser and five Special Advisers at the Government House in Dutse.

He described the appointments as another milestone in strengthening the machinery of government to advance his administration’s vision of building a greater Jigawa State.

The governor said his administration remained committed to appointing competent and credible individuals capable of contributing meaningfully to the state’s development.

According to him, the credentials of the newly appointed advisers demonstrate that they possess the intellect, integrity and experience required to support government programmes and policies.

Governor Namadi urged the appointees to remain faithful to the Oath of Office, stressing that public service is a trust that requires integrity, dedication and accountability.

He also commended the unity already displayed by the new advisers, describing it as an encouraging sign of their readiness to work together in advancing the state’s development agenda.

The governor assured the officials that they were joining an administration that places high value on teamwork and expressed confidence that they would collaborate effectively with other members of government.
