The Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, has honoured an invitation by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) in connection with the ongoing investigation into the activities of the alleged fake agency known as PFIPC.
A statement issued by his counsel, Jiti Ogunye, says Gbajabiamila appeared before the commission at about 3:00 p.m. on Monday in compliance with the directive of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for full cooperation with the investigation.
The statement notes that the Chief of Staff gave his testimony, responded to questions from investigators, and has since returned to his official duties.
The ICPC is continuing its investigation into the activities of the alleged fake agency and related matters.
