Governor Zulum gave the assurance during a week-long working tour of the five Local Government Areas of Biu, Hawul, Kwaya Kusar, Shani and Bayo, where he commissioned projects, inspected ongoing developments and announced new interventions aimed at improving the living conditions of the people.

The Governor said his administration remains focused on completing all ongoing projects before the end of its tenure and putting in place structures that will guarantee their sustainability.

During the tour, Professor Zulum approved employment for one hundred unemployed graduates from Biu Local Government Area, flagged off the 2026 wet farming season with subsidised fertiliser and agricultural support for more than one hundred and twenty thousand farmers.

He also laid the foundation for a one hundred-bed General Hospital in Kwaya Kusar and announced the construction of two additional community secondary schools in Biu.

The Governor also inspected several ongoing education, healthcare and housing projects across the zone, expressing satisfaction with the quality and pace of work.
