The Executive Secretary of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund-PTDF, Prof. Shu’aibu Shehu Aliyu has re-affirmed the Agency’s commitment to sustaining and strengthening the longstanding partnership with the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, United Kingdom.

He stated this when he received a delegation from the University at his office in Abuja.

Professor Shu’aibu Shehu Aliyu stressed the need for continued institutional support as the Agency’s College of Petroleum and Energy Studies has positioned itself to address the manpower requirements of the energy industry, not only in Nigeria, but across the West African region.

He also highlighted the importance of aligning the College’s academic curriculum with that of the University, while exploring opportunities for student exchange programmes, virtual learning, and broader academic collaboration.

Earlier, the University’s team lead and Vice Principal of Partnerships, Mrs Donella Beaton, alongside the head of Partnerships, Mrs Sarah Hillyear restated the University’s commitment to supporting the split-side PhD programme at the College of Petroleum and Energy Studies, in Kaduna.
