Late Barrister Jalul Baba Ahmed

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) Chapel, Kaduna, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of veteran broadcaster and legal practitioner, Barrister Jalul Baba Ahmed.

In a condolence message issued on behalf of the FRCN family and Radio Nigeria Kaduna, the union described the late broadcaster as a dedicated professional, mentor, and respected colleague whose contributions to journalism and broadcasting would remain unforgettable.

The statement, signed by the Secretary of the NUJ FRCN Kaduna Chapel, Ibrahim Suleiman, the Chairman of the chapel, Comrade Umar Adamu Sarkin Fada, noted that the death of Barrister Jalul Baba Ahmed was a great loss not only to his family, but also to the journalism profession and the broadcasting community.

According to the union, the deceased was widely admired for his wisdom, humility, kindness, and commitment to duty throughout his career.

The NUJ stated that his words inspired many people, while his presence and professional guidance positively impacted colleagues and younger journalists.

The union said members were deeply saddened by the painful loss and described his passing as heartbreaking.

It prayed Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings, grant him Aljannatul Firdaus, and give his family, friends, and colleagues the strength to bear the loss.

The union added that although Barrister Jalul Baba Ahmed had departed this world, his legacy and memories would continue to live in the hearts of those who knew him.
