The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Kaduna State Chapter, has expressed profound sadness over the passing of Barrister Jalul Baba-Ahmed of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), Kaduna.

 

In a condolence message signed by the Secretary of the association, Dr. Hadiza Bello Abdullahi, NAWOJ described the late Barrister Jalul Baba-Ahmed as a seasoned journalist, legal practitioner, and respected media personality whose contributions to journalism and public service were highly commendable.

 

The association noted that the deceased was known for his professionalism, dedication to truth, and commitment to ethical journalism, qualities that earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues within and outside the media industry.

 

NAWOJ Kaduna State Chapter further stated that Barrister Jalul Baba-Ahmed contributed immensely to the growth of journalism practice in Kaduna State and remained a supportive figure to professional bodies and practitioners throughout his lifetime.

 

According to the statement, his demise is a great loss to the media profession, the FRCN family, and the entire Kaduna State journalism community.

 

The association prayed Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings, grant him eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus, and comfort his family, friends, colleagues, and loved ones during this difficult period.
