Former Acting National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party ( PDP), Alhaji Abubakar Kawu Baraje has urged members to embrace the party’s reconciliation process and work harder towards securing victory in future elections.

Alhaji Baraje made the call during his inauguration as the Chairman of an 18 man Reconciliation and Engagement Committee at the party Secretariat in Ilorin.

According to him, the task of reconciling aggrieved members of the party ahead of 2023 elections required collective effort.

He said the loss of election by the party in 2019 has taught party members an important lesson and urged party members to give him the required support to enable the committee succeed.

In his address, Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP )in Kwara state, Engr. Kola Shittu, said the reconciliation committee was necessary to bring together the various interest groups within the party and iron out issues related to the loss of the 2019 elections in the state by the party.
