Security chiefs and Borno State Government officials have held a strategic meeting aimed at strengthening inter-agency collaboration and improving security coordination across the state.

The meeting, hosted by the Commissioner of Police, Borno State Command, CP Naziru Abdulmajid, took place at the Command Headquarters and brought together top security and government stakeholders.

Those in attendance included the Commander of 7 Division, the Director of the State Security Service, the Comptroller of Customs, the Comptroller of the Nigeria Immigration Service, the Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, the Federal Road Safety Corps, the Commandant of the NDLEA, and the Federal Fire Service, alongside senior state government officials.

Discussions focused on enhancing intelligence sharing, improving operational effectiveness, and adopting proactive strategies to address emerging security challenges in the state.

Participants emphasized the importance of sustained synergy between security agencies and government institutions to maintain peace, protect lives and property, and consolidate ongoing efforts toward restoring stability in Borno State.

The meeting reaffirmed the commitment of all stakeholders to work collectively in addressing security concerns and ensuring lasting peace in the state.
