The Pharmaceutical Council of Nigeria, PCN, has accredited pharmacy Technician course at Alliance College of Health and Environmental Science Dutsinma, Katsina State.
Speaking shortly after the visitation at school premises, the Chairman of the Council, represented by the Pharm. Agbumart Igbokwe said she satisfied with the pharmaceutical landscape in terms of regulation and control with each legal instrument.
According to her, pharmacy technician and educational programs meet strict standards for safety, quality, and curriculum and it covers both academic programs and practice facilities as pharmacy training, focusing on curriculum, department and facilities to ensure graduates are prepared for professional practice.

Pharm. Agbumart Igbokwe further explained that, the visitation committee also urged the college to adherence to quality, staffing, and facility standards to ensure that, they produced quality students that can deliver every where.
In their separate remarks, the north west zonal Director Pharm Olabisi Obisesan and Katsina State officer of the Council, Pharm. Farida Ibrahim commended the management of the college for meeting the standard of the accreditation exercise and urged them to maintain the tempo.
Earlier, in his remark, the Chairman Governing Board of the College Abdulkadir Sanusi Karofi said the college already meet all the necessary measures needed by the council for the continuation of the pharmacy technician course in the school, that is why they wrote and request for the accreditation.
He commended the effort of the visitation committee for their endurance and support given to the management of the College in order to achieve the desired objectives
Similarly, the Head of Department of the pharmacy Technician, Pharm. Lawal Sule Kuro and the Board Member Dr. Bishir Ahmed Mati expressed their satisfaction with the work of the committee and assured to maintained the tempo.
