The Kwara State Government has expressed satisfaction with the Nigeria Police Force sustained efforts to address security challenges and safeguard communities across the State.
The state Commissioner for Finance, Dr Hauwa Nuru, gave the commendation during a courtesy visit to the office of the Commissioner of Police, Adekimi Ojo in Ilorin.
Dr Nuru praised the Police for their effective collaboration with other security agencies in tackling insecurity, noting that the strong inter-agency synergy has played a critical role in curbing insecurity and enhancing the safety of lives and property in Kwara State.
She also expressed appreciation for Commissioner Ojo’s leadership and professionalism, commending his dedication and service to the State.
In her remark, the state Commissioner for Communications, Bola Olukoju, joined in acknowledging the impact of ongoing security interventions across the State.
She reaffirmed the commitment of the State Government to maintaining a secure environment and pledged continue support for all initiatives aimed at strengthening public safety.
On his part, the Commissioner of Police, Adekimi Ojo, expressed gratitude to the State Government, for the consistent support and collaboration extended to the Command.
He noted that the longstanding partnership between the State Government and the Police has contributed significantly to peace, stability, and economic growth in Kwara State.
Commissioner Ojo reaffirmed the Nigeria Police Force’s commitment to sustaining close collaboration with the State Government to ensure the continued safety of lives and property.
