The Acting Governor of Zamfara State, Mani Malam Mummuni, has congratulated Muslims across the state on the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan and the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr.

In his Sallah message delivered on behalf of the Governor, Dr. Dauda Lawal, the Acting Governor prayed to Almighty Allah to accept the ibadat observed during Ramadan, forgive shortcomings, and grant all Muslims mercy and freedom.

Mani Malam Mummuni described Eid-el-Fitr as a moment of gratitude and reflection, urged the people of Zamfara State to celebrate peacefully and in accordance with the law.

He advised youths and children to conduct themselves responsibly and avoid any actions capable of disrupting public peace during the Sallah celebration.

The Acting Governor also extended prayers for those who lost their lives during the period, seeking Allah to grant them eternal rest.

Mani Mummini expressed appreciation to the people of the state for their continued prayers, noting that the relative improvement in the security situation is a result of collective supplications and cooperation with security agencies.

On political developments, the Acting Governor explained that, the recent decisions of joining the APC by Governor Dauda Lawal were taken in the best interest of the state, with the aim of strengthening collaboration with  Federal Government to enhance security and accelerate development.

He maintained that Zamfara State has continued to witness meaningful progress under the present administration and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to delivering more developmental projects.

Mummuni therefore called on the people of Zamfara to continue supporting the administration of Governor Dauda Lawal on its efforts to reposition the state for greater growth and prosperity.

The Acting Governor wished all Muslims a peaceful and joyous Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
