President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been advised tọ redouble efforts in addressing the current security challenges bedeviling the country.

The Niger State Director General Bureau for Religious Affairs and Chief Imam of Bosso Central Mosque, Sheikh Umar Faruk Abdullahi gave the advice at the closing of this years Nupe Ramadan tafsir held at the Gidan Matasa  in Bosso.

Sheikh Umar Faruok Abdullahi explained that the advice became necessary tọ reduce the increasing spate of attacks and the killings of innocent Nigerians especially people from the North by terrorists.

Hẹ also stressed the nẹed for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu tọ work assidiously towards addressing the problem of epiliptic power supply in the country to enhance the establishment of industries that would served as a source of employment for the youths to address cases of youth restiveness in Nigeria.

The Clergyman also appealed tọ President Tinubu to as a matter of urgency rescind some of the hasty economic decisions he has made to include removal of fuel subsidy and tax reforms that have brought untold hardship to many Nigerians, for the good of all.

On the twenty twenty seven General elections, Sheikh Umar Faruok said the people of Niger State will come out enmasse to elect credible leaders of their choice devoid of any sentiment and appealed tọ Nigerians to be peaceful and orderly during the polls tọ achieve meaningful results.

He also condemned reports of the killings of Christians in Nigeria, describing it as false and misleading, saying that Muslims wẹre the worst hit by the  problem of terrorism in Nigeria.
