Wealthy Muslims have been urged to assist the needy to enable them feed the family with ease.
Imam Dhikirullah Alasela made the call in his Juma’at sermon at Zumratul Islamiyah Juma’at Mosque at Alasela Community in Eiyenkorin,Asa local government area of Kwara state.
He said assisting the needy is part of the good attributes expected from a Muslim.
Imam Dhikirullah also advised Muslims to ensure they give out Zakatul Fitri in form of food stuff to the less privileged as commanded by Almighty Allah.
He added that given out Zakat would help spread prosperity and reduce poverty in the land.
