Nasarawa State Police has arrested two suspects in connection with the vandalisation of electric cables and poles along Gitata-Gunduma road in Keffi local government area.

A statement signed and issued to newsmen by Police Public Relation Officer, SP Ramhan Nansel said, the suspects were identified as Chigozie Igbokwe and Emmanuel John, both of Jikwoyi, FCT Abuja.

The statement explains that, the items recovered from the suspects include iron cutters, pliers, spanners, electric cables, and one hyundai sonata, grey in colour, with registration number GWA 44 PM, which was used in conveying the vandalized properties.

It says, the Commissioner of Police, CP Shatima Jauro Mohammed, has ordered that the case be transferred to the state criminal investigation department SCID, Lafia, for discreet investigation and prosecution.
