The Emir of Kauru in Kaduna State, Zakari Ya’u Shehu Usman, has called for heightened vigilance to strengthen security in the area, urging authorities to closely monitor informants and provide adequate support to security personnel in the discharge of their duties.

His Highness Zakari Ya’u Usman made the call during the annual Ramadan breaking-of-fast gathering traditionally hosted on the 15th day of Ramadan at his palace in Kauru.

Speaking at the event, the Emir also urged citizens to intensify prayers for peace and stability in the country, noting that farmers are currently facing significant challenges due to rising food prices, which have affected their livelihoods and agricultural activities.

He further emphasized the importance of strengthening social bonds, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan, and encouraged individuals and groups to extend acts of charity by providing food and assistance to the less privileged in society.

The royal father also commended the Governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani, for ongoing development initiatives that are positively impacting communities in Kauru Local Government Area.

He therefore urged residents to continue cooperating with security agencies while remaining steadfast in prayers for lasting peace and protection across the land.
