Kaduna state government has reiterated it’s commitment to providing security and supportive environment for Corps members sent to the state.

Governor Uba Sani made the remark at the twenty twenty-six Batch ‘A’ stream one Orientation Course held at the NYSC temporary camp in Kaduna.

The governor who was represented by Commissioner for Youth Development, Barr. Gloria Ibrahim urged corps members to rise above ethnic, religion and cultural divides, to embrace peaceful coexistence and promote unity for national development.

He also encouraged them to master new skills from the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) training that would make them self reliant and innovative.

He further employ them to make measurable impact in their places of primary assignments and build network of friends across the country.

NYSC State Coordinator, Mrs Efeke Murna Dadaza stressed the need for active participation in all camp activities and that corps members should make the most of the orientation opportunities.

Mrs. Dadaza appreciated the state government for renovation of camp facilities and appealed for provision of a permanent orientation site and an ambulance among others.

A total of two thousand five hundred and twenty-nine corps members comprising five hundred and sixty-three dislodged corps members for the Federal Capital and one thousand nine hundred and sixty-six for Kaduna state were sworn in to commence the orientation exercise.
