The Federal Government has intensified construction on the 17.34km Unguwan Iliya Bagudu-Kwantakaran Tsiga-Bakori road in Kafur local government area of Katsina State.

This was made known on the official WhatsApp channel of the office and residence of the President, State House NG.

According to the channel, the project includes three bridges aimed to improve rural-urban connectivity, facilitates movements of people and goods, and boost local economic activities as part of President Bola Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda.

It also says that upon completion, the road is expected to reduce travel time, cut transportation costs, and open up Kafur and neighbouring communities to increase commercial and socio-economic opportunities, reflecting the federal government’s commitment to deliver durable, high quality infrastructure for inclusive growth and national integration.
