He added that the government is working diligently within the framework of the law to ensure a safe and conducive environment for all residents.

Highlighting the importance of inclusivity, Comrade Waiya highlighted the appointment of a Special Adviser on South South affairs to strengthen engagement with these communities.

He also noted that the state government has put security measures in place for areas like Bagwai and Shanono, which have previously experienced insecurity.

The Commissioner revealed that the government had organized special prayer sessions to address security issues and encouraged the South South community to join in praying for peace and stability during Christmas church services.

He pledged to work closely with the Special Adviser on South South to maintain and further enhance the cordial relationships between the communities and the state government.

“Kano is the most peaceful state and will continue to maintain that status through the efforts of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf,”.
