The residents of Kwara state have been urged to be more vigilant in this raining season to save their lives.
The Director of the State Fire Service, Mr Falade Olumuyiwa made the call while speaking with Journalists during an operation at Osere area of Ilorin.
According to him, the body of a victim was recovered dead from the river and handed over to the police for further investigation.
Mr Olumuyiwa advised the residents to avoid moving around flood prone area during raining season.
He however, assured the residents of the determination of the State Fire Service to attend to their emergency situations at all times.
