The Vice Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Professor Adamu Ahmed, has presented a new blueprint aimed at transforming agriculture and human capacity development to Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal.

The Vice-Chancellor handed the proposal to the Governor during the commissioning of an upgraded library of the department of political science and international studies of Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria.

The statement sign and issued to newsmen by the Director public affairs of the university Malam Awwalu Umar said the plan developed by ABU’s key agricultural research institutes focuses on crop and livestock improvement, climate resilience, and modern extension services.

It will be delivered through a train-the-trainer model using the university’s Distance Learning Centre.

Governor Lawal who was an alumnus of the department thanked ABU for its support and pledged continued partnership with the institution.
