Vice President Kashim Shettima has commended Governor Umar Namadi for the agricultural transformation he has achieved in just two years of his administration.
He stated this in Gumel emirate Jigawa state, when he commissioned a mosque to celebrate the Emir of Gumel as he clicked 45 years on the throne.
According him, it is impressive how Governor Umar Namadi has transformed Jigawa’s agriculture into a modern one in just two years.
He commended the Governor and the people of Jigawa state for the laudable achievements.
Kashim Shettima further congratulated the Emir of Gumel, Alhaji Muhammadu Sani, for celebrating 45 years on the throne of Gumel Emirate, wishing him good health.
He assured the continous commitment of The Kashim Shetima Foundation, to transform the lives of Nigerian citizens.
The Vice President also commissioned a new Friday mosque constructed by the Kashim Shettima Foundation as part of the 45th anniversary of the Emir of Gumel.
Also speaking, the Sultan of Sokoto Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar, commended the Vice President for commissioning the mosque.
The Sultan also congratulated the Emir of Gumel on his 45th anniversary as the Emir, while wishing him the best.
In his speech, Governor Umar Namadi commended the Vice President for the investment in the mosque construction.
Namadi also applauded the commendation by the VP on Jigawa’s massive Agricultural transformation, pledging that more is on the way.
The Governor further commended the Sultan of Sokoto and other dignitaries for gracing the occasion.
