Senator Natasha Uduaghan has accessed her previously sealed office at about 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday, following a directive from the leadership of the Senate to unseal it.

The Senator, representing Kogi Central, arrived at the National Assembly with a sizable crowd who escorted her to the office.

Earlier this morning, September 23, 2025, the leadership of the National Assembly directed that Senator Natasha Uduaghan’s office be reopened.

The development comes as the National Assembly rescheduled its resumption date from today, September 23, to October 7, 2025.

According to an officer from the Sergeant-at-Arms, the security wing of the National Assembly, who requested anonymity, the directive to unseal the office came from above.

It will be recalled that Senator Natasha was suspended by the Senate for six months over alleged unruly behavior when she was asked to move from her usual seat to another following changes in the Senate’s seating arrangement.

However, Senator Natasha explained that she was asked to move without proper communication from the leadership, which later led to counter-accusations from both sides and eventually escalated to a court case.

Natasha entered her office despite tight security at every entrance, with access granted only to her and her aides, according to the Sergeant-at-Arms.

Speaking to newsmen in her office, Senator Natasha described all the allegations leveled against her as illegal.

Similarly, no one can clearly explain the fate of the appeal filed by the Senate leadership against her at the Court of Appeal, or the possible drama that may unfold when the Senate resumes on October 7, 2025, as stated in the circular rescheduling plenary from this Tuesday.
