The Minister of Defence, Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has arrived in China to attend the twelfth Beijing Xiangshan Forum beginning on the Seventeenth of September.
A statement by his Personal Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mati Ali says the forum is hosting defence and military leaders from one hundred countries, as well as representatives from International and regional organisations from around the globe.
According to the statement, the forum will include four plenary sessions and eight simultaneous sessions, with focus on global security governance, Asia-pacific security co-operation, safeguarding international order and building regional peace.
The theme for this year’s forum is : *Upholding International Order and Promoting Peaceful Development*
