Niger state police command has arrested two suspected assassins with locally made pistol and cartridges on their way to execute a mission.

They were arrested by the Police team with Vigilante members that were stationed at railway crossing in Beni, Maikunkele area of Bosso Local Government Area of the state.

The intercepted persons are Muhammed Mohammed forty years and Mohammed Usman thirty five years both of Beji town.

Similarly the sum of thirteen thousand naira were also recovered from the suspects who confessed that they were hired by one Dogo of Beji to assassinate a person around railway crossing area.

They were arrested while on their way to collect the service charge of one hundred thousand naira from Dogo when they were arrested by the team.

Both the suspects claimed that Dogo initially  gave them thirteen thousand naira as transport,while they charged him one hundred thousand naira for the assignment.

Investigation conducted by Radio Nigeria, however revealed that Dogo intended to kill the fellow because he married his ex-wife.

Meanwhile the Niger state police command has intensified efforts to apprehend the so called Dogo for prosecution.
