The Nigeria Bar Association  NBA Gusau Branch, has inaugurated Surajo Garba Gusau as its new Chairman.

The Chief Judge of Zamfara State, Justice Kulu Aliyu has administered the oath of office to the new NBA Chairman at the ceremony held in Gusau.

In his inaugural speech, Surajo Garba Gusau described the event as a milestone in the continuous growth of the Association in Zamfara State.

He acknowledged the contributions of successive leaderships of the NBA to the development of the legal profession in the state, pledging to consolidate on their achievements.

The new NBA Chairman, however, decried the absence of a functional secretariat for the Gusau Branch, which according to him it has caused inconveniences in administrative operations.

Barrister Surajo Garba assured that his leadership would collaborate with government agencies, civil society organizations, philanthropists, and international partners to establish a befitting secretariat for the Association.

In a goodwill message, the Zamfara State Commissioner for Justice congratulated the new executive, describing the inauguration as a momentous occasion.

He expressed confidence in the ability of the new Chairman to reposition the Association and urged him to remain resolute, determined, and committed to sustaining reforms for the progress of the NBA in the state.
