The Federal Commissioner representing Kaduna State at the National Population Commission (NPC), Hajiya Sa’adatu Garba Dogonbauchi, has commenced a state-wide sensitisation tour ahead of the forthcoming national population and housing census.
The exercise, which began in Kaduna North LGA, is aimed at dispelling doubts, highlighting the importance of the census, and sensitising residents on the electronic civil registration and vital statistics.

Speaking at a town hall meeting, Dogonbauchi stressed that digital birth and death registration play a vital role in national planning, development, and safeguarding the future of children.
She also visited Kaduna South LGA, where she engaged stakeholders, provided updates on preparations, and solicited community support.
