Federal Government has been advised to focus more seriously on securing the nation in order to justify the public mandate.

A retired military analyst, Major Bashir Galma, gave the advice in reaction to reports of protests by some communities recently attacked in Benue, Katsina, and Zamfara States.

He stressed the need for proactive measures against insecurity described as the bane of socio-economic development expected in a Democracy.
