Al Sadaqah Jariyah Humanitarian Organization has spent over three million naira on a free cervical cancer screening campaign across Nigeria.

The initiative, which aimed to reach six hundred women, successfully screened three hundred and eighty-five across Nasarawa, Sokoto, and Abuja, and also fed hundreds of people in Abuja, Sokoto, Zamfara, Katsina, and Kaduna during last Ramadan.

The exercises were held at top medical centres including FUTH Lafia and FMC Jabi according to the Chairman of the Board, Professor Saad A. Ahmed, during the outreach event in Abuja.

Professor Saad Ahmed said the screening in Nasarawa State took place at the Federal University Teaching Hospital, Lafia, reaching two hundred and one women.

He added that Sokoto State hosted the campaign in three centres, screening Fourth three women at Reliance Specialist, Maryam Abacha WCWH, and Specialist Hospital.

In Abuja, 141 women were reached at the Federal Medical Centre, Jabi, with full follow up care provided for those in need.

The chairman explained that although the original target was not met the impact was still significant as all women received free tests, counseling, and referrals.

The Chairman thanked the hospitals, donors, volunteers, and media partners for their contributions while appealing to the public to support the ongoing mission through donations.
