Special Adviser to the Niger state Governor on Political and Strategy, Malam Mohammed Nma Kolo has appreciated the people of the state for their unwavering support to the administration of Governor Mohammed Umar Bago in his genuine effort to transform the state to greater height.
The Special Adviser made the appreciation in a statement issued to Newsmen in Minna, as part of activities marking this year’s Democracy Day celebrations where he expressed his deepest gratitude to people of the state.
Malam Mohammed Nma Kolo attributed the successes recorded by Governor Mohammed Umar Bago led administration to the massive support and cooperation of Niger lites in which he said traditional rulers as custodian of people culture and tradition have played a pivotal role in achieving such feat, through proper application of their wisdom and guidance.
He also thanked religious leaders, labour unions, market men and women, students, youths and women groups for their unprecedented support to the current administration and called for more to succeed.
According to Malam Mohammed Nma Kolo, members of fourth estate of the realms, the Media also played a greater role in keeping Niger lites informed with current happenings as regards to government policies and programmes, in addition to holding political office holders accountable to the yearnings and aspirations of its people.
He however applauded members of political parties in Niger state for their understanding collaboration and support towards building a Niger state of Governor Umar Bago’s dream where development, rule of law, security, good governance and economic prosperity thrive.
