The Senator representing Kebbi Central, Senator Muhammad Adamu Aleiro, has distributed empowerment materials to the people of his constituency with the aim of empowering them to become self reliant.
The items includes 150 tricycle (Keke NAPEP), 114 motorcycles, 302 solar deep freezers, 750 grinding machines, 500 solar water pumps, 800 sewing machines and 3,400 bags of fertilizers.
Speaking on the occasion of the distribution at Aleiro local government area of Kebbi state, Senator Adamu Aleiro, said this was part of the dividend of democracy to the people of not only his constituency but the state.
He advised the Kebbi state governor, Comrade Nasiru Idris, to continue to take over important federal government’s road projects in the state, assuring that as lawmakers, they would follow up such projects to ensure that the federal government pay back the money spent.
Also speaking at the distribution, Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Nasiru Idris, commended the Senator for paying back his people with dividend of democracy.
Governor Idris, assured that his administration had never deprived any lawmaker the opportunity to provide constituency projects to his people saying, whatever projects brought to Kebbi was for the benefit of Kebbi people.
He urged the beneficiaries not to sell the items, they should use them to be come self reliant.
