The Federal University Dutsin-Ma (FUDMA) in Katsina State has matriculated over 4,000 newly admitted students, a number surpassing that of the previous matriculation.

Speaking at the 6th matriculation ceremony of the College of Professional and Continuing Studies (CPCS), the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Arma Ya’u Hamisu Bichi, stated that the event provides the university authorities with an opportunity to showcase the various levels of progress the institution has achieved over the years.

Professor Bichi also commended the effort of the Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau Jibiril Maliya for sponsoring over 1,000 students to study in the college and urged others to borrow leaf from him.

He also cherished his timely support to the University by providing 500 street solar lights, a bus for students transportation as well as scholarship to students and urged him to do more.
