Kwara state governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has expressed confidence that the annual Ilọrin Emirate Durbar will strengthen the unity and harmonious coexistence in the state.
The governor stated this in his message at the annual Ilorin Grand Durbar.
He said the Ilorin Durbar has become a national spectacle as it unites the people and projects the unique beauty of the state heritage.
AbdulRazaq expressed gratitude that the state Film Factory is currently producing a documentary on the Ilorin Durbar as a national cultural heritage.
He commended the sons and daughters of the Emirate for turning out in their numbers for the beautiful horse ride which signifies their strength as a people.
AbdulRazaq congratulated the Emir of Ilorin and the Durbar Committee for a successful and peaceful Durbar.
