Niger State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps-NSCDC says it has deployed a total of one thousand seven hundred officers and men to ensure a hitch free Eid-el-Kabir celebration throughout the state.

This is contained in a statement signed and issued to newsmen in Minna by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSC Abubakar Muti.

It however explains that personnel of the Niger state Command of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps will be spread across the twenty five Local Government Areas to provide a water tide security during the celebrations.

According to the statement, State Commandant, Mr Jaochin Okafar has warned individual or group planning to disrupt the celebration to desist or face the full wrath of the law.

The Commandant would also wants all Area Commanders, Divisional Officers, and Intelligence Officers to be on high alert and ensure adequate protection of Critical National Asset and infrastructure in Niger state.

Mr Joachim Okafar assured Nigerlites to go about their lawful activities without fear of intimidation and molestation while urging them to report any suspicious movements to the security agencies in the state for necessary action.
