National Universities Commission (NUC) has granted accreditation to 20 academic programmes at Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology, Wudil.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Musa Tukur Yakasai, disclosed this in a statement issued to journalist in Kano.

 

The statement said out of the 24 programmes evaluated, 20 received full accreditation status, while four were granted interim accreditation.

The accredited programmes include Agriculture, Architecture, Information and Communication Technology, Automobile Technology Education, and Biochemistry, among others.

Prof. Yakasai expressed pride in the university’s commitment to academic excellence, stating that the accredited programmes have got and exceeded the NUC’s stringent standards.

He assured that the university will continue to improve and enhance its academic programmes.

The VC also addressed the four programmes with interim accreditation, promising prompt action to address areas requiring improvement.
