Political group, zamfara APC youth wing mobilisation vanguard has expressed concern over a statement credited to Gov Dauda Lawal in a national television on security happenings in the State

In a statement issued to newsmen in Gusau, the chairman of the group, Alh Ashiru Tukur said the comment of the Governor is baseless in view of the sacrifice of the various security agents involved in the fight against insecurity in the state.

It equally condemned what it called unpatriotic and verbal attack against the minister of state Defence and soldiers who are involved in the on going effort to contain insecurity in the state.

The statement also called on the Governor to wake up to his responsibility of protecting lives and properties of the people of the state as promised when he assumed office.

The statement commended the minister of state Defence, Dr Bello Mohammed Matawalle for being instrumental to the improved military presence and operations being witnessed in the state and other neighbouring states.

It therefore called on Governor Dauda Lawal to do more in supporting, cooperating and synergizing with the security agencies working in the state and this blame game.
