The Emirs of Gwandu, RTD. Major General Muhammadu Iliyasu Bashar and that of Argungu Alhaji Muhammadu Mera, have assured to sensitized the public especially those at the border towns on the activities of the Nigeria Customs Service as an agency mandated to fight the influx of unwanted goods in to the country.

 

The Monarchs, gave the assurance when they received on a courtesy visit the new Coordinator Northwest zone, Nigeria Customs Service Joint Border Patrol Team, Sector 4, Comptroller Aminu Abubakar Danmusa at their palace in Birnin Kebbi and Argungu respectively.

 

While commending the Nigeria Customs for discharging its mandatory duty, the Monarchs  reassured to step down the sensitization campaign through community leaders at the border areas on the activities of the Nigeria Customs.

 

Earlier, the Coordinator, Joint Border Patrol Team, Sector 4, Northwest zone of the Nigeria Customs Service, Comptroller Aminu Abubakar Danmusa, told the Emirs that, he was at their palace to seek for fatherly blessings and support for effective discharge of their duty.

 

Comptroller Aminu Abubakar Danmusa, equally paid a courtesy visit to the Kebbi State Comptroller, Nigeria Immigration Service, Saidu Mohammed Sabo, where he advocated for more synergy between the two agencies for effective and efficient discharge of duty as the two agencies comprised the joint patrol team.
