Kaduna State government says it will continue to partner with Christian Association of Nigeria CAN, Jama’atu Nasril Islam JNI and other faith based organizations as part of strive to sustain and consolidate peace in the State to ramp up it Rural Transformation Drive.

The State Governor, Malam Uba Sani stated this when he hosted the newly elected members of the Christian Association of Nigeria CAN, Kaduna State Chapter led by the new Chairman, Reverend. Caleb Ma’aji at Government  House Kaduna.

Malam Uba Sani who congratulated the newly elected Chairman and members, commended CAN for its support which has help in in restoring peace., assured the CAN leadership that his government is commitment to peace and unity in the State.

According to him Peace can only be achieved if the leader is fair and just, revealing that, he has taken an oath to be fair to all persons and all areas of Kaduna State.

He stressed that his government is taking development to all parts of the state and committed to effectively degrading terrorists, bandits and kidnappers laying siege to communities.

“We have zero tolerance for conflict merchants or entrepreneurs. Our major responsibility is the safety, security and welfare of our citizens”

“Our doors are open to all stakeholders in the Kaduna Project. We are deepening citizens engagement. We don’t have monopoly of wisdom. Where we are wrong, tell us. Where we are right, support and encourage us”

In his remarks, the CAN Chairman in Kaduna, Reverend Ma,aji Caleb commended the Kaduna State Government for its sustained efforts in forging unity, peace and understanding among the diverse people of Kaduna and for running an inclusive and people – oriented administration.

Reverend Caleb expressed CAN’s unwavering support and commitment to the success of his administration.

He said the purpose of thr visit was to introduce the new leadership of CAN in
Kaduna to the Governor.
