The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Zamfara State Command has reaffirmed the Corps’ commitment to aiding the Committee for Managing Recovered Rustled Animals and Returning them to their Rightful Owners in Zamfara State.

According to the spokesperson of the NSCDC, SC Ikor Oche, the Commandant Sani Mustapha reiterated this commitment during a meeting with committee members led by Malam Saidu Aliyu Maikwano at the Command State headquarters in Gusau.

Expressing appreciation for the state government’s initiative in forming the committee to combat rampant animal rustling in the state, Commandant Sani Mustapha pledged the Corps’ full support in assisting the committee in its mission.

Furthermore, Commandant Sani Mustapha assured the committee of the NSCDC’s unwavering assistance in prosecuting individuals found guilty of rustling activities identified by the committee.

Malam Saidu Aliyu Maikwano, leading the committee, commended the NSCDC for its effective handling of cases brought forward by the committee and expressed confidence in the Corps’ ability to manage its mandate and resolve disputes among civilians.

Maikwano appealed for continued support from the NSCDC to ensure the efficient execution of the committee’s duties as outlined in its terms of reference.
