Four Communities in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State have appealed to Governor Uba Sani to provide them with access road to ease their suffering.

These Communities are Sabon Gero, Danhono 2, Dokan Mai-Jama’a and Bayan Tsauni all in Millennium City, Chikun Local Government Area.

For decades, both Chikun local government and Kaduna State Government neglected these communities despite their roads challenge.

Speaking to Radio Nigeria Kaduna, one of the community leader who resided in one of the communities, Elder Muhammad Sani lamented that due to poor condition of all the roads, people find it difficult to go to the town.

“If you used your car to drive down to town you have to visit mechanic every week particularly during raining season” he said.

Also, a civil servant in Kaduna, Khadija Ibrahim lamented that most of the accident were due to the poor condition of the roads and appealed to Governor Mallam Uba Sani to also include the less than seven (7) kilometers roads to solve their major problem.

“During the raining season, we experienced a lot of accidents due to the high level of mud in the roads, during dry season is dust that affected our eyes, lungs and our dressing, she lamented.

“Governor Uba Sani should kindly come to the rescue of those communities please”.

When Radio Nigeria visited the road that linked the communities from Nurus Suraj at Millennium City observed the present of tippers busy destroying the roads while transporting lateritic soil for roads construction somewhere.

The contractors handling most of the roads projects in Kaduna also contributed negatively to the condition of those roads and they failed to fix those roads as part of their cooperate social responsibilities.
