A Non Governmental Organization NGO, Jam’iyyatu Tukaful Aytam has called on Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State to establish a skills acquisition center in Barnawa and other part of the state to reduce youth restiveness.

The President of the NGO, Malama Rabi’atu Adam Isma’il made the call while flagging off the distribution of food items to orphans held at the association’s office in Barnawa.

She explained that establishing a skills acquisition center would enable them to train youths in various skills, thereby benefiting the less privileged and deterring them from involvement in drugs and thuggery.

In her address during the occasion, the leader of Nisa’us Sunnah in Barnawa Mallama Amina Namadi explained that the Takaful Aytam spent fourteen years taken care of orphans by sponsoring their school fees, skills acquisition, feeding, clothing and presently many were graduated.
