The Zamfara State Chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress NLC, has concluded arrangement for the commencement of the nation wide protest slated tomorrow Wednesday.
The State Chapter’s Chairman of the union Comrade Sani Halliru announced this shortly after a stakeholders meeting held at the Secretariat of the union in Gusau Zamfara State.
Comrade Sani Halliru said the union will mobilized their members and that of the public to express their grievances to the government on the current economic hardship being face by the citizens.
He expressed worry over the recent increase of fuel prices by the federal government which jeopardised and paralysed the economic of the country and it’s citizens.
The Chairman assured people of the state and the country at large, that NLC will advised government especially states and federal to come out with a blue print that will address the issues affecting Nigeria as a nation.
According to him, factors like insecurity, economic melt down, hunger, poverty and diseases were among the major stumbling blocks toward the development of this country.
Comrade Sani Halliru Maintained that in the early hours of tomorrow Wednesday the protest will start around 9:00 am in the morning from NLC Secretariat to government house Gusau.
